Income tax
By when do I have to file my tax return?
The basic deadline is 1 April for paper filing and 1 May for electronic filing. If a tax advisor prepares your return, the deadline is extended to 1 July.
Do I need a data box to file electronically?
Not necessarily. You can file through the MOJE daně portal with a verified identity. However, if you have a data box established by law, you are obliged to file electronically.
Flat-rate tax
How do I register for the flat-rate tax?
You register for the flat-rate regime by submitting a notification to the tax office, no later than 10 January of the given year. Newly established sole traders can do so when they start their activity.
